Can I post information of the debtor without being taken to court? Yes you can, again as long as the debt and the information concerning the debtor are true and accurate then the website is a facilitator for information to warn other persons as to what that person’s debt record is. Can I post a photo of a debtor without being taken to court? We believe yes you can. If the photo was taken while the debtor is in a public place or with the debtors consent, you can post the photo. eg: Facebook, Bebo, Twitter, YouTube, MySpace. Can you tell me what photos you believe I can use? We believe that if the debtor is on public property or if it is taken without objection, or has been obtained from a public source eg:  Facebook, Bebo, Twitter, YouTube, or MySpace, then  “ yes you can use it “ and of course you must ensure it is always of the debtor. How much does it cost? Debts $1999NZD or less @ $49.99NZD incl This option allows you to upload one photo and enter up to 150 words to describe your Dirty Debtor. Debts $2000NZD to $19,999NZD @ $99.99NZD incl This option allows you to upload up to three photos and enter up to 500 words to describe your Dirty Debtor. Debts $20,000NZD or more @$199NZD incl     This option allows you to upload up to six photos and an unlimited number of words to describe your Dirty Debtor.   All prices in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) Do I get a discount for multiple listings? How long does my debt appear on this website? Your debt is posted for an unlimited time from the date you have listed your Dirty Debtor with us, unless your debt has been paid. What is a debt? A debt basically is any money owed to you by any party, that party being known as a debtor, and can include money that is owed for trade or personal debts, but also can include monies owed by a company that goes into liquidation as although liquidators are appointed it does not necessarily mean the debt is removed. How old does the debt have to be? If a debt is overdue, whether it is 3 months or 10 years, you can list the debt. What if I am a person who is listed and want to remove my name? You will have to contact the creditor who logged the information against you, and arrange for that person to withdraw the listing.  Dirty Debtors is only a facilitator of information and does not undertake to determine the bona-fides of any claim or counterclaim. What is my liability? If you have acted in an honest and bona-fide manner, the information you have supplied to the website and the photographs are true and accurate, then you have no liability. How do I pay my debt and have myself removed from this website? You go directly to the person who is owed the debt, pay your debt and ask to be removed from this website. The person owed will then go to the website edit page and press” Debt Paid” and have you removed from Dirty Debtors website. What is Most Wanted? The Most Wanted position is up for Auction every week. Once you have listed your Dirty Debtor, you will find the Most Wanted Auction Site in the "My Account" area. For 7 days the winning bidder will gain the satisfaction of having their Dirty Debtor revealed on multiple pages, so have a go!!  It's very rewarding!! What is a disputed debt? A disputed debt is one where the creditor maintains that either the amount of the debt owing is not correct, or that the person alleged to owe the debt is not correct, or that the debt has been repaid.  Disputes must be taken up directly with the creditor who logged the information, as the company is merely a facilitator of information. Park and Re-activate? If your listing is disputed, you have the ability, at your own discretion to park your listing, eg: suspend, with the option to re-activate at a later date.  Park and re-activate can be found in "My Account > Edit Dirty Debtors". Click the Edit option of your chosen Dirty Debtor. What if I have not acted honestly? The website is a facilitator of information for third parties, and accepts no liability, the liability will rest upon yourself, so it is important to make sure that the information you convey is 100% accurate.
